Navan-Vars United Church Women (UCW)

NVUC’s United Church Women (UCW) are a vibrant, essential, and hardworking part of our congregation and community! The group meets monthly from September to June. New members are welcome.

Annual activities include planning and holding an annual Fall Bake Sale (November) and a spring Yard and Bake Sale (May), catering Nifty 50 Seniors Club luncheons (upon request), funeral receptions (upon request), and offering ‘treats for sale’ at Music in the Park (June).

The UCW fundraises and supports not only church functions, but also community and several charitable causes.

The UCW is often called the “hands and feet” of the church. The UCW’s mission is to love God; foster Christian commitment, faithfulness, and spirituality; and promote respect and love for all God’s creation.
